Julian Mellis, one of Denton Clark’s Land Management/Commercial Property Directors, confirmed in October that Lease terms have now been agreed for two commercial units in Cheshire. Although both lettings were brought about by business failures (bad debts being the principle cause), we were extremely encouraged by the level of interest received from potential tenants and now that lease terms have been agreed we hope that new tenants will be able to move into each property during November.
Both the units are farm building conversions. The first is situated at Sutton Weaver on the Aston Estate and comprises just over 1,900 sq ft of high specification accommodation not far from the M56. The conversion was completed about three years ago at an asking rent of over £20,000 per annum.
The second property is located near Cranage, Middlewich and is conveniently situated only 5 miles from junction 18 of the M6. The smaller (1200 sq ft) unit includes part warehouse accommodation and its location has and will continue to be a significant factor in achieving a successful letting.
